We only needed the latter option but she truly went above and beyond, she is extremely attentive to detail and brought the aesthetic side of my wedding dreams to life. I hired Amanda as a day of coordinator but honestly she was way more than that!! I msgs her ALL THE TIME with silly little questions or to get her opinion on things and she always replied super fast and was SO kind. She took away so much stress from me. And it was so nice having someone to consult with for a second opinion who was not my husband who’s taste I do not trust, I really felt like she heard me, understood me and my vision, and put me at ease knowing she would make it all come to life. I am so grateful I went this route. After I hired her I actually found out my venue included a day of coordinator already and kinda had a mini freak out thinking I just wasted money I didn’t need to spend, but thank god I did this because my venues coordinator didn’t do ANYTHING Amanda did. There were so many small details Amanda brought to my attention that would have ruined my wedding day if she didn’t!! She made sure I wasn’t forgetting anything and man am I thankful to her. She was my wedding day guardian angel and if you’re thinking of getting a coordinator, Amanda is your girl!! Even if your venue provides one, still hire Amanda!!! She will make it worth your while I swear. Thank you Amanda for making my day absolutely perfect. I literally can’t imagine how the day would have gone if you weren’t there… I know I wouldn’t have those gorgeous arch flowers for one!! Thanks for making all my dreams come true. You’re my hero!!

Amanda was our month-of-coordinator for our July 2021 wedding. From our first conversation, it was clear that Amanda had a wealth of experience and knowledge. She was up to speed on the changing COVID regulations, and brought up a whole bunch of details that we hadn't thought of! Considering how quickly we had to adapt to changing regulations, Amanda was a calming influence who helped us keep everything clear and organized. Amanda is so passionate about what she does, and it comes across in her work. She was very communicative the whole way through, always reachable, and proactive when it came to working with our other vendors. On our wedding day, everything was so smooth and seamless, and we had an amazing, stress-free day - which we know was because of all her work! We honestly can't say enough good things about working with Amanda, and recommend her for anyone looking for a wedding planner!

OMG, where do I even start with this company?! Again, book them if you can. I worked with Amanda during month-of and she had an assistant on the day-of with her. She is super friendly, easy going and energetic. She was very on top of things and did everything with a smile. I'm sure there were things that went wrong on the day but I'll never know because she probably handled them before they even became a problem! Amanda went above and beyond for me and made sure I had everything I needed. I love that she does not always need to be told what to do. She knows what needs to be done and acts on it. Her assistant Heather was also very kind and sweet. My day ran super smoothly without any major hiccups and I have them to thank for it. If you are on the fence about hiring a day-of coordinator, this is your sign! Do it, you won't regret it!

Amanda Marie Events (10/10): The wedding planning was starting to get really difficult and the park we were getting married in were making us jump through hoops just a month before our wedding. By the time there was only a week left, my energy was completely drained and I was barely holding on by a thread. I decided to look into wedding planners/coordinators and found Amanda. She was a LIFE SAVER!! After our email conversation, I hired her instantly. She was so professional and knew exactly what she was talking about. She also knew I was under a lot of stress and wanted to take it all away from me and into her own hands. Amanda was so helpful and took care of all the nitty gritty details on the wedding day, which meant that I could just enjoy myself the whole time.

I would highly recommend Amanda's services to anyone planning a wedding in the Greater Vancouver Area! She was amazing. When I first met her to go over our vision and ideas for our wedding, she was so helpful and informative. She could see what we were going for, and wanted to help make it perfect. She helped think of all the details that needed to be figured out ahead of time to make sure the day was easy breezy. Amanda and her assistant were at the venue to help set up once all the vendors got there, Amanda helped with making the ceremony run smoothly despite us forgetting to give her the music and she was so awesome at taking care of any questions during the night from other vendors. Amanda was a life saver!!!! I can not emphasize that enough! If you are on the fence about getting a day of coordinator, I am telling you now - it’s worth every penny!! This is a special day for you, your family and your friends, so why not let them enjoy every moment of it? My wedding was a DIY wedding and was located at a community center! So, everything had to be brought in, organized and arranged! I had a vision of what my ceremony and reception was to look like, and when I saw it, it was my vision come true. I’m sure a billion things went wrong on the day of, but I wouldn’t know because Amanda seemed to have handled it fine! She did whatever it took to make our day as seamless as possible. Amanda knew our schedule and would give us reminders when we were falling behind. My husband and I can’t thank Amanda and her team enough! You are in very good hands if you go with them!!

I cannot recommend Amanda enough. We went with Amanda's "Month-Of" Coordinator package with the take-down addition. She was absolutely amazing helping us tie together all of those last minute details that can get overwhelming leading up to the wedding. She was professional, efficient, and kept everything running smoothly and on-time. Not to mention she is so kind and just fun to be around. It was such a comfort to know that while we were getting ready in the morning and off taking pictures in the afternoon, she was back at the venue making sure everything was going as planned. Where do I start? Amanda was amazing to work with right from the beginning! We met for coffee and right away we knew she would be a perfect addition to our wedding day. She was organized, professional, and really listened to our plans for our big day. She was great at communicating throughout the days leading up to the event. On the day of, Amanda and her assistant worked ALL day as they started at the ceremony and helped the groomsmen set up all the decor & chairs and then went on to our reception where they stayed til the very end to help clean up. They were so fast at cleaning up my DIY wedding collection and everything was organized so well and nothing broke! She was so helpful for any questions from my vendors. Anyone who came in contact with Amanda raved about her and said how helpful she was. It was so stress free for my now husband and I. We didn't think we needed a DOC for our wedding initially because we were at a golf course, but we are so thankful we did! Even my husband said that was the best money we spent! We cannot recommend her enough!

We hired Amanda for set up and take down of our reception decorations last weekend. She is absolutely amazing. From the first time I met with her, I knew instantly that she was the person we needed. I had a specific vision and I felt that she just understood me and was on the same page. She is quick with her emails and super organized. We had the pleasure of having Amanda at our wedding a couple weeks ago in May 2018 and we CAN NOT thank her enough. She was incredibly professional, sweet, and on top of everything. We hired Amanda for her Day-Of Coordinating services which included 2 in-person meetings and limitless emails/calls. Amanda and her assistant also did a superb and fast job of cleaning everything up at the end of the night. She ran our ceremony rehearsal as well - which was amazing because she took us step by step through the processional and recessional (all of which we had no idea how to run). Personally as someone who spent over a year planning my own wedding, it was a little daunting to hand over the plans and expect someone to remember all the details of my extremely long emails - but Amanda took it all in stride and executed everything beyond our expectations. There were also a few issues with the rentals and caterer on the day of our wedding, which she completely insulated us from, AND she solved all those problems without letting it stress us or our guests out.... we only heard about the issues the next day. Amanda is an incredible asset and friend to have at your wedding. We cannot recommend her enough! (side note: We met with 4 other coordinators before we found Amanda, and within 30 seconds of meeting her we both breathed a huge sigh of relief knowing we had found the perfect person to help execute our vision)

Amanda did the decor and flower set up as well as take down for our wedding on July 2nd in Osoyoos. She is a lovely person to work with and I always felt as though I was in capable hands. She did an absolutely beautiful job of displaying various decor pieces I had collected over the past two years. I had a rough idea of how everything was going to look and Amanda far exceeded my expectations. My Husband even commented on how he was impressed with her work and creativity. It was wonderful to know we were in good hands while we were busy getting ready for the ceremony. Also, it gave us more time to visit with our guests at the end of the night while Amanda was packing our items away neatly. This type of service was without a doubt worth it! We were humming and hawing about getting a DOC because we had a super tight budget but this was the best decision ever! Amanda was super friendly, very reliable and responsible and helped us with everything. I sent her a million emails and she always wrote back right away and had lots of options for us. She made our day go smoothly and we had no hiccups whatsoever. We knew that she had everything organized with the vendors and was in communication with everyone so we didnt have to, we had nothing to worry about and could just enjoy the day. Highly recommend Amanda as a DOC, it made our day stress free!
